Internationally acclaimed painter and sculptor Teguh Ostenrik is an Indonesian painter and sculptor who holds a Master’s in Fine Arts from Hochschule der Künste, West Berlin. He has exhibited in over 100 solo and group shows across the USA, Europe, Australia, and Asia, with works in collections like Willem de Kooning Studio (USA), St. Mary of the Angels Church (Singapore), and Fukuoka Art Museum (Japan).
Awarded Best Artist (Tempo Magazine, 2009) and a Top Ten Philip Morris Art Award (1997), Ostenrik emphasizes environmental themes, using recycled materials and earth tones. His art reflects a fusion of Indonesian and European influences, shaped by his upbringing and 16 years in Europe.
