I Nengah Sujena was born in Bangli, Bali, in 1976 and graduated in Fine Arts from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta in 2005. He has held solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows in Bali, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Singapore, Tokyo, and other cities. In 2007, he presented his solo exhibition “Songs of Solitude” at Komaneka Gallery.
Nature serves as Sujena’s primary source of inspiration. His paintings give voice to the wisdom of the natural world, reflecting an ecological awareness that recognizes the fundamental interconnection between nature and humanity.
