    Beatrix Hendriani Kaswara is a Bandung-based artist and a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), majoring in painting. Her first exhibition was a student group show titled Inkubasi at the ITB East Hall in 2002, and since then she has actively participated in group exhibitions across Indonesia and abroad. Her international debut came in 2008 with “A Slice of Indonesia” at Soka Art Gallery, Beijing.

    Beatrix often begins her creative process by photographing objects or sourcing materials online, which she then reworks using digital software. Strongly influenced by digital culture and the neon aesthetic of the 1990s, her works reflect a contemporary visual language shaped by technology and popular culture.
