Awiki is a painter closely associated with the Banyuwangi art scene. His early training began under the guidance of Bani Amora in Genteng, before continuing his formal studies at the Fine Art School in Yogyakarta. Awiki also honed his craft under the mentorship of renowned painter Dullah at the Pejeng Gallery, and later became part of the Kamboja Gallery collective, working alongside 17 fellow artists. Known for his expressive use of the impasto technique and a distinctive impressionistic style, Awiki’s works are rich in texture and emotion.
