Wayan Kastina graduated from Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (UNDIKNAS) in Denpasar, Bali, with a major in Economics and Management. He began learning to paint at an early age under the guidance of his father, a traditional Balinese painter. Known for his distinctive black-and-white compositions, Wayan’s works reinterpret Balinese artistic traditions with a contemporary sensibility, highlighting form, contrast, and emotional depth.
