Bagus Triyono graduated from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta in 2004 and has been actively exhibiting his works since 2002. He is a well-established Indonesian surrealist known for creating dreamy and enchanting compositions. His paintings are characterized by delicate brushwork, soft color palettes, and often monochromatic backgrounds that highlight striking focal points. The presence of unusual objects and symbolic elements adds a dramatic and otherworldly quality to his imagery.
Bagus demonstrates a strong command of colour, gradation, pressure, and spatial placement, supported by mature opaque and underpainting techniques. His works carry emotional depth and visual resonance, making them pieces that can enrich and complement the atmosphere of any space.
