Supar Pakis
Supar Pakis was born in Pakis, Surabaya, on 23 December 1964. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at IKIP Fine Art (IKIP Adi Buana) Surabaya. Like many alumni of the institution, Supar Pakis also works as an art educator. Alongside teaching, he has persistently developed his work as a painter with a strong inclination toward surrealism. He has held solo exhibitions and participated in various group exhibitions in Bandung, Solo, and Surabaya. His artistic achievements include receiving the award for Best Work at the Pekan Seni Mahasiswa Nasional (National Student Arts Week) in East Java, marking his position within the regional contemporary art scene.
