Heriawan Siauw

B. 1959

Heriawan Siauw was born in Muara Enim, South Sumatra in 1959. He comes from a Sino-Indonesian background and was originally trained in interior design at Trisakti University. He made a full shift to fine art in 2000. Since his debut solo exhibition in 2002, Heriawan has held numerous solo and group shows across Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, and China. He is known for his abstract works and often explores themes of freedom, spirituality, and nature.
