Bob Sick Yudhita Agung
B. 1971
Bob Sick Yudhita Agung was born in Yogyakarta on 26 May 1971. He studied at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta, where his talent quickly gained recognition. In 1994, he received the Affandi Award.
Bob held solo exhibitions in Yogyakarta and Jakarta in 2000 and has participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout his career. Calling himself Vincent van Bob, his artistic style blends Primitive-Naïve elements with graffiti influences reminiscent of Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Deeply inspired by Basquiat and pop culture, Bob’s work incorporates elements of music, tattoo art, and street culture, creating a distinctive mixed-media style. His paintings often carry strong social awareness, expressed through bold colors, raw energy, and symbolic imagery.
