Camelia Mitasari Hasibuan
Camelia Mitasari Hasibuan was born on March 6, 1993, in Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. She studied Fine Arts at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta. Embracing surrealism as a core approach, her work draws inspiration from the natural world and often features flora, fauna, and cosmic elements merged into imaginative, unified forms. Oil paint is her primary medium.
Beyond their visual appeal, Camelia’s paintings convey deeper meanings. Through imaginative surreal compositions rendered with meticulous, realist technique, her works invite viewers to reflect on the symbolic relationships between nature, imagination, and the inner world.
