Tresna Suryawan

Tresna Suryawan is the eldest son of renowned Indonesian painters Hendra Gunawan and Karmini Hendra. He began exhibiting his works in 1975 in Bandung and has since showcased them widely across Indonesia, including in Jakarta, Bandung, and Bali. His paintings have also appeared in international auctions at Christie’s Singapore and are held in both local and international collections.

Unlike his father, who often depicted the struggles of common people such as farmers and guerillas, Tresna focuses on cheerful and harmonious family life. His first solo exhibition was held at Alliance Française, Jakarta, in 1980.
