I Wayan Suja
I Wayan Suja graduated from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Denpasar in 2001. He began exhibiting as early as 1994 and has remained active in the Balinese art scene, including exhibitions in Denpasar with the artist community Taxu.
Suja gained wider recognition after being named a finalist in the Philip Morris Indonesian Art Awards in 2000, where he also received awards for Best Sketch and Best Work in previous years. His work was later selected among the top 30 entries in The Sovereign Asian Art Prize in 2005.
