I Made Djirna
I Made Djirna was born in Ubud, Bali in 1957. He studied at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta, where he graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. Throughout his career, he has received several prestigious awards, including Best Sketch and Painting from ASRI, Best Painting at PORSENI (Jakarta, 1978), the Lempad Prize for Best Painting from Dewata Indonesian Gallery (Yogyakarta, 1982), and the Pratisara Affandi Adikarya from ISI Yogyakarta (1983).
An active and dynamic artist, Djirna is known for exploring multifaceted and experimental works across various mediums. He has held numerous solo exhibitions and participated in group shows both in Indonesia and internationally. He currently lives and works in Ubud, Bali.
