Ayu Arista Murti

Ayu Arista Murti is an Indonesian artist whose work explores environmental issues, the role of women, and human resilience. Her vibrant abstract paintings combine various materials and bold colors to create visually compelling compositions.
A graduate of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Yogyakarta, Ayu has held solo exhibitions in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Darwin, and beyond. Her recent group shows include Art Jakarta and Tiga Sisi at the National Gallery of Indonesia (2024). She has received multiple awards, including the Philip Morris Indonesian Art Award (2003).
