Rahardi Handining is an Indonesian artist, illustrator, and cartoonist born in Semarang. Trained in architecture, he brings a strong sense of composition, structure, and visual storytelling to his artistic practice. Since the late 1990s, he has contributed editorial cartoons and illustrations to numerous Indonesian publications, before serving as a graphic designer and illustrator for Kompas daily from 2004 to 2018. His background in illustration continues to influence his paintings, where wit, narrative, and expressive imagery often converge.
