Raden Ogeng Heru Supono
1959 – 1911
O.H. Supono studied at the Fine Arts Department of the Surakarta Arts Academy from 1957 to 1959, where the curriculum emphasized aspects of personal style, love of the environment, and the lives of the common people to create a new Indonesian style. This deeply impressed O.H. Supono. Consequently, he actively created works with a tendency towards figurative expressionism. He realized that art is an expression of his soul. Therefore, he studied the works of senior painters and international artists who refer to creativity.
