Anak Agung Gede Raka Puja
B. 1930
Anak Agung Gede Raka Puja was born in Padang Tegal, Ubud, Bali, in 1930. In his early career, his paintings focused on Wayang stories and classical narratives. Over time, he shifted his subject matter toward scenes of everyday life and the mystical beliefs embedded in Balinese tradition. His expressive brushwork and compositional approach were strongly influenced by Rudolf Bonnet.
