Ming Jing
Ming Jing was born in 1960 and graduated from the Decorative Art Department of the Tianjin Academy in 1983. He later became an associate professor at the Hebei Arts and Crafts College. Working primarily in oil painting, Ming Jing is known for his semi-abstract expressionist approach.
His paintings uniquely combine the lyrical sensibility of traditional ink painting with the material richness of oil. Ming Jing masterfully balances contrasts such as light and dark, black and white, thickness and thinness, as well as emptiness and fullness, producing compositions that appear effortless yet are charged with intense emotional and visual energy.
