Jose was born in Solo, Central Java in 1959. He is a self-taught painter whose works explore portraits and everyday objects, expressed in a realist style with occasional surrealist elements. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in major Indonesian cities, including Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and others. His paintings reflect his keen observation of the world around him and his commitment to continuous artistic exploration.
