Antoni Eka Putra, born in Padang, graduated from the Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta in 2006. His works draw inspiration from the neo-plasticist master Piet Mondrian, yet Antoni moves beyond imitation, expanding Mondrian’s minimalist language into a style uniquely his own.
Deeply personal and reflective, Antoni’s paintings represent his spiritual journey, seeking meaning in everyday existence. Through his vibrant use of polychromatic tones and colors, he invites viewers to connect with a shared human purpose, while being captivated by the rhythm and energy of his compositions.
